Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 15-20°C (60-68°F) using a good quality, moist seed compost. Germination 5-20 days. Cover the seeds with 6mm (1?4") sieved compost. Transplant resulting seedlings into trays or singly into 7.5cm (3") pots and grow on. Acclimatizes plants before planting out when all danger of frost has passed, 38- 45cm (15-18") apart. Choose an open, sunny position.
