Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in pots or trays in a greenhouse at approx. 15-20C (60-68F) using a good quality, finely sieved compost. Do not cover seed but avoid direct sunlight and conserve moisture (Germination 10-21 days). Transplant resulting seedlings, when large enough to handle, spaced out 5cm (2") apart in trays and grow on in good light. Acclimatizes plants gradually before planting out 30cm (12") apart in a sunny position.
