Seachem Tanganyika Buffer – pH & KH Conditioner for African Cichlids (250g)

Seachem Tanganyika Buffer is a scientifically formulated blend of carbonate salts designed to replicate the natural water chemistry of Lake Tanganyika. It raises and stabilizes pH and carbonate hardness (KH), creating an ideal environment for Tanganyikan cichlids and other alkaline water species.

This buffer is phosphate-free and will not affect general hardness (GH), making it safe for planted aquariums and sensitive species. It is best used in combination with Seachem Cichlid Lake Salt™ and Cichlid Trace™ for complete mineral support.

Directions for Use:

Use 5 g (1 level teaspoon) for every 40–80 L (10–20 US gallons) of water daily until desired pH is reached. Thereafter, use as needed to maintain pH, typically once every 2–3 weeks. Dissolve in freshwater before adding to the tank. For lower pH ranges, use Malawi/Victoria Buffer™ alone or in combination.
