Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium is a high-purity, non-caustic ionic calcium supplement formulated to restore and maintain calcium levels in reef aquariums. Calcium and carbonates are essential for coral growth, and deficiencies can lead to stunted development and declining health. This dry powder blend includes magnesium and strontium in biologically balanced ratios (100:5:0.1) to support complete skeletal formation in corals and other invertebrates.

Unlike kalkwasser (limewater), Reef Advantage Calcium does not raise pH to dangerous levels and will not deplete magnesium. It is ideal for reef aquariums with high calcium demands and can be used safely in conjunction with alkalinity buffers when dosed on alternate days.

Directions for Use:

Use 5 g (1 level teaspoon) per 150 L (40 US gallons) twice a week. Dissolve in at least 250 mL of freshwater before adding. Each dose raises calcium by 12 mg/L. Do not exceed 10 g per 150 L per day. Monitor calcium levels (ideal range: 380–420 mg/L) and adjust dosage as needed. Avoid direct mixing with carbonate supplements—dose at least 30 minutes apart or on alternate days.
