Seachem Discus Buffer – pH Conditioner for Discus Aquariums (250g)

Seachem Discus Buffer is a specialized pH buffer designed to replicate the soft, acidic water conditions of the Amazon Basin—ideal for Discus and other tropical fish. It lowers pH and keeps it stable between 5.8 and 6.8, while also softening water by precipitating calcium and magnesium.

Discus Buffer contains phosphate-based buffering agents and is safe for all freshwater fish acclimated to acidic environments. It can be used alone or in combination with Seachem Neutral Regulator® to achieve a specific target pH.

Directions for Use:

Use 1 level teaspoon (5 g) for every 40–80 L (10–20 US gallons) daily until desired pH is reached. Thereafter, use once a month or with water changes to maintain pH. For best results, use with RO or DI water. To raise pH, use Seachem Neutral Regulator.
