Seachem Alkaline Regulator – pH & KH Conditioner for Freshwater Aquariums (250g)

Seachem Alkaline Regulator is a phosphate-based buffer that adjusts and stabilizes pH in the alkaline range of 7.1 to 7.6. It is ideal for freshwater aquariums housing species that thrive in alkaline conditions, such as rainbowfish, livebearers, and certain African cichlids.

This product raises carbonate hardness (KH) to prevent dangerous pH swings while leaving general hardness (GH) unaffected. It is especially useful when using reverse osmosis (RO) or deionized (DI) water. For precise pH targeting, it can be used in combination with Seachem Neutral Regulator.

Directions for Use:

Use 1 level teaspoon (5 g) for every 40–80 L (10–20 US gallons) daily until desired pH is reached. Thereafter, use once a month or with water changes to maintain pH. Dissolve in freshwater before adding to the tank. To lower pH, use Seachem Neutral Regulator. For RO/DI water, refer to Seachem’s pH targeting chart.
