Seachem ParaGuard is a unique, aldehyde-based treatment that eradicates a wide range of external fish diseases. It is safer than formalin-based medications and contains no formaldehyde or methanol. ParaGuard is effective against ectoparasites (e.g., Ich, Velvet), as well as fungal, bacterial, and viral lesions such as fin rot and skin ulcers.
It is particularly useful in hospital and quarantine tanks for new fish introductions. ParaGuard is gentle enough for daily use and does not harm biological filtration or alter water chemistry.
– Treats Ich, Velvet, Fin Rot, Flukes, and other external infections
– Safe for fish and filters – no formaldehyde or methanol
– Will not alter pH or water chemistry
– Ideal for freshwater and marine aquariums (not reef-safe)
– Can be used as a dip or in-tank treatment
Brand: Seachem
Volume: 250 ml
