This moss is commonly known as "Mini Christmas Moss" or "Mini Taiwan Moss", but it does not belong to the genus Isopterygium. It is likely a species of Vesicularia, but its exact origins and identity are unclear. It may have other trade names as well. This moss resembles a smaller version of Christmas Moss (Vesicularia montagnei), with delicate and densely branched shoots that form a triangular shape. It is different from Vesicularia sp. "Triangle Moss", which has vertical or ascending shoots, while this moss has horizontal or drooping ones.
